Ok so lovebug season is clearly upon us, its hit or miss in our area however, I do know a great way to quickly and efficently remove love bugs from your car. All you need is a water hose and dryer sheets.
Spray love bugs off as soon as possible for easiest removal, however this tip will work even on the day old dead bugs. Once you have sprayed off as many as possible, grab a dryer sheet wet the area you will work on and rub the sheet on the wet section. Bugs should come off pretty easy but you may have to use some good ol' fashioned elbow grease. It make take several dryer sheets to get them all off, This will not harm your paint and is safe for use on the windshield. I keep dryer sheets in my trunk now just for these little bothers.
